We finally got our bunny tonight about 8:30. He is quite cute. We have not decided on a name for him. But the popular one is Kitty. He is 10 weeks old and we think he is a Holland Lop. The vet was not an expert on rabbits, so he is not sure of the breed. But it is obviously a lop eared rabbit.

I like Kitty… or Peachy… FuzzyHopper…
It may be a few days before we get around to naming it. One of our hamsters is already name Fluffy. So we can’t use that for the rabbit’s name. I think something like Butch or Killer would be a good name.
So cute. I’m not sure about the name Kitty, you will give the bunny an identidy crisis before he has been with you a week. Personally I like Hoppy.
What an awesome looking bunny! Be careful though. They are contagious. We started with just 2 and now we have a barn full of rabbits! It is difficult to find a vet that knows rabbits very well, but you should try to find one that does, just in case you need that service. Stop by and visit our site sometime at Three Little Ladies Rabbitry.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Can you confirm from these pictures if our bunny is a Holland Lop? I have at least a dozen more pictures already if another angle would be a help in confirming a breed type.
Awww, he’s so cute! TnT are asking if they can have one too. Yikes! What have you started?
Im sure thats a Holland lop. it has a shorter face than any other lop! cute!
Hi, I’ve used your picture of Peanut on my blog just for reference. Was talking about my ‘other’ dream bunny and I just love how yours looks!
You can see it at http://www.phiphosopher.blogspot.com
Looks like a holland lop to me! I like kitty, but I think something else may be better. I had a similar rabbit that I named April once. I really liked that name.
Why are you so irresponsible ? You should have your rabbits spayed or neutered to prevent this situation .
Stumbled across this as I was googling rabbit images having just got our first ever rabbit and I had to contact you as our rabbit is almost a clone of your one, even to the the little white patch on the top of his head!
Dont know how to share photos on this but its very scary indeed how alike they look!
That’s neat. We named our baby Peanut. But, sadly, he is no longer with us.
i got a rabbit named ginger:D , our neighbor’s cat brought him home &she didnt want him so gave him to us[:
Where did you get him? My rabbits just died, so I would like to get a lop because they are adorable!
I got ours from a vet in Mexico where we lived at the time.
