The half marathon that I promoted heavily last year is coming up again this year. Registration opened for the Phedippidations World Wide Half Marathon about a week ago. Already there are over 160 people registered. Last year there were about 400 who registered for the race.
It is not so much a race as it is a group of runners from around the world running together in different places. It is quite an event.
This year one of the new twists is that we will also be doing a 5 Km. race that same time. It is called “Kick the Couch 5K.”
The event is October 13 and 14. But you can run the week before or the week after and still be part of the event. So pick one of those three weeks to make your race day.
