Because I am desperate to get new listeners for my podcast, I thought I would mention the ones that I am currently subscribed to to help boost their numbers as well. This in turn may get someone to mention me on their blog and generate new listeners. Gimmick? Yes, but hey, it can’t hurt.
My podcast by the way is Missionary Talks.
Look through these, you may find something that you would like to hear. For the podcasters listed here…please don’t podfade on me. If you are not going to continue with the podcast, let us know. One of my favorites was Old Time Radio Podcast (listed below). I hold out hope that it will come back, therefore I keep subscribing. I am sure there are podcasters who have built quite an audience and have seemingly walked away. A shame.
If you have specific questions about a podcast, leave a comment and I will answer the best I can. Sometimes it is good to get an outside opinion on a podcast. I would gladly provide my thoughts, but I don’t want to do a review of every one of them.
Some of these I have commented about before. Here I just plan to list them with their web address for the link. No specific order.

If anyone wants to link back to my podcast, go right ahead. I have averaged 37 listeners per show for the first 4 shows. The newest episode has just been out 2 days, so that number will go up. I am not disappointed with my numbers, I just want to see them skyrocket as quickly as possible. Of course, it is about having the right listeners. My show is kinda niche, but the more that hear it, the more exposure I have to getting the right people.
Thanks for sticking with me through this.
(Links in bold print indicate that this post has garnered a link back from the podcast mentioned. Special thanks to them.)
Hello David,
That’s quite a lengthy and eclectic podcast listening mix you have there. We are very happy to be included. Thanks!!
We’ve added your podcast and blog in our Thanks! page btw. I hope it helps get you your skyRocket.

“A podcast about the Children’s Books we love and why we love them”
Thanks for the comment and the link!
After typing all of that out I thought that maybe I am a little excessive on my podcast listening. Then I started reading an article and the man said he subscribes to 80 podcasts. So I guess my list is not that bad.
I enjoy your show. We have two children (ages 8 and 2) ourselves and enjoy reading to them.
Your promo is in my next episode which is about to be released in mere minutes, before I get on the plane.
I will have to get you some more prominent space on my blog and I will have to pass you around as best as I can.
Thanks Terry. I knew I could count on you.
Everyone, give a hand to the host of Gravity @ 1053.
(Hopefully he did not see that when I had the typo in the original post that said 1023. Oops.)
